Administrator must be licensed as a nursing home administrator or complete an approved assisted living training program.

Administrator must complete at least 16 hours of annual continuing education.

Criminal background checks (name-based or FBI fingerprint) for all employees.

Cannot employ persons meeting criteria of 50-5-225(4), MCA.

Facilities must have written policies and procedures manual, reviewed every other year.

Fees & Costs
Application for a license accompanied by the required fee (fee amount not specified in this document). Fee of $100 from a prospective resident, resident or facility appealing a rejection, or relocation decision to cover the cost of the independent nurse resident needs assessment (37.106.2821(5)).
