    Residents may not require restraints or confinement or limitations on egress

    Residents may not be unable, because of dementia, to understand the facility’s unit dose medication system

  • 3

    Residents may not have chronic health conditions requiring extensive nursing care, or daily professional observation or judgment

  • 4

    Residents may not require medical care, skilled nursing care, or care beyond assistance with ADLs

  • 5

    Administrator must complete 6 hours of continuing education each year

  • 6

    All staff must receive initial and ongoing training on various topics including abuse reporting, first-aid, and fire safety
